GloriaFood is shutting down. Your orders need a new home before the lights go out.
Oracle will end all GloriaFood products and services on April 30, 2027. New signups are already closed and the product is frozen. Move to BetterMakesCo — your own branded ordering site with a courier dispatched for every delivery, and zero commissions — from $299/mo, no setup fee, month to month.
What is happening to GloriaFood?
Oracle, which acquired GloriaFood, has confirmed it will retire the platform. Existing customers are being supported through the end-of-life date, but there is no direct replacement product from Oracle, no new features, and no active roadmap. After April 30, 2027, GloriaFood ordering pages, QR codes, the FoodBooking app, and connected POS flows stop working. Oracle has not announced an extension or a migration tool.
That makes waiting the risky option. Restaurants that switch early get to move calmly, keep their menus and customer data, and reprint their QR codes on a schedule they control. Restaurants that wait until spring 2027 will be switching in a rush, alongside everyone else.
What waiting costs you
- Your QR codes will die. GloriaFood QR codes point to GloriaFood's servers. When they go offline, every printed table tent, menu, and window sticker that points there stops working — every one needs reprinting during the move.
- Your data must come with you. Oracle has not announced a migration tool. Your menu, customer records, and order history become inaccessible after shutdown — export them now, while you still can.
- Delivery was already the weak link. GloriaFood setups often needed a third-party delivery middleware at extra cost. With BetterMakesCo, a courier is booked automatically for every delivery order, and the customer pays the delivery fee at checkout — you never pay a percentage of your food sales.
- Zero commission, flat pricing. GloriaFood won restaurants by avoiding marketplace commissions. BetterMakesCo keeps that promise with a flat $299/mo Core plan — no setup fee, no commission, month to month.

How the migration works
- Export your GloriaFood data. From your GloriaFood admin, export your menu and download your order history and customer list. Save everything locally — do this now, not in April 2027.
- Send us your menu. A photo, a PDF, or your GloriaFood export — we build your branded ordering site with your full menu, photos, and prices. No setup fee.
- Run both side by side. Keep GloriaFood live while your new site takes orders for pickup and delivery. A courier is dispatched for every delivery order, so your kitchen workflow doesn't change.
- Point your regulars over. We help you move repeat customers to your own site — link and QR code for bags and receipts, your Google listing, and rewards that bring them back. Then retire GloriaFood before the deadline.
Questions restaurants ask
When does GloriaFood shut down?
Oracle has confirmed the end of life for GloriaFood products and services is April 30, 2027. New signups are already closed and the product is feature-frozen. Plan your move well before that date — waiting until the deadline means migrating in a rush.
Will my GloriaFood QR codes still work after the shutdown?
No. GloriaFood QR codes point to GloriaFood's servers, and once those go offline every printed QR code stops working — regardless of which platform you move to. Part of a good migration is inventorying every place your QR codes appear (table tents, menus, window stickers, Google Business Profile, Instagram bio) and reprinting them for your new ordering site.
Will I lose my menu and customer data?
Not if you export it first. Oracle has not announced a migration tool, so export your menu, order history, and customer list from your GloriaFood admin and save the files locally. We can build your new site from a photo, PDF, or your export — no setup fee.
Does BetterMakesCo charge commission like DoorDash?
No. Both plans are flat monthly pricing — Core is $299/mo and Growth is $499/mo per location. There is no percentage of your sales, no setup fee, and the plans are month to month. Your customers pay a $0.99 service fee per online order at checkout; it is never taken from you. Card processing is extra.
Who delivers the food?
A courier from an on-demand delivery network, booked automatically for each delivery order. The customer pays the delivery fee at checkout, so you don't pay a percentage of your food sales and you don't need your own fleet.
Do I have to leave DoorDash or Uber Eats?
No. Many restaurants keep their marketplace listings for new customers and move their regulars to ordering direct. The Growth plan ($499/mo) even brings your DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub orders onto the same kitchen tablet through Otter, so every order lands in one flow.
Move before the rush.
Tens of thousands of restaurants run on GloriaFood today, and every one of them needs a new ordering channel by April 30, 2027. The restaurants that move early get the calm version of this story: exported data, a branded site, working QR codes, and delivery that runs itself.
